I suppose I do believe in second chances. It really depends on how sorry the person is and how badly they fucked up. When it comes to cheating in relationships — I don’t. I figure that if the person is willing to cheat on you, they obviously don’t respect you enough to be faithful so why be with them? But I don’t believe that ‘once a cheater, always a cheater’. I kind of feel bad for people who have that mentality. If someone cheats on you, that fucking sucks and I don’t think you should be with them. BUT if they cheated on someone in a previous relationship, you should definitely consider that in your decision in whether you want to be with them or not. You shouldn’t hold it against them but you should definitely know what you’re getting into before you get into it. It would be a waste of time and feelings to be with someone and be mad about what they did to someone else the whole time you guys were together. But people do get older, they do get wiser and they do change. That’s something important that you should definitely remember.
